Kids Jiu Jitsu
Mixson is also home to Park Circle Jiu Jitsu (as seen in P&C, City Paper, etc.).
Our classes are built around the needs of young beginners. We specialize in helping kids grow strong through the challenge and fun of martial arts training.
Meet one-on-one with a personal trainer for one hour training sessions in the Mixson wellness room. Each trainer will assess your current fitness level and develop training to fit your individual needs.
All training can be scheduled by calling the Club at 843-471-1920 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. A trainer will be selected based on your preference and schedule.
Mixson offers weekly yoga classes at different times, days and for different levels and ages.
Our classes also offer a variety of different focuses to include Restorative, Vinyasa Flow, Poolside Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Happy Hour Yoga.
Mixson Members also are treated to monthly featured yoga classes to fill different unique needs.
AFTER BURN – After Burn is the happy medium for those who like to feel the pump from strength exercises, and those who like the burn from “cardio”. You’ll get the benefits of both anaerobic and aerobic exercises when you jump from one exercise to the next for a total body workout.
YOGA WITH JOE – Joe teaches a core Vinyasa yoga class that welcomes all levels of practitioners. This class focuses on building strength, increasing flexibility and finding focus and balance. Joe’s class is also centered on breath work, movement/meditation, to promote mindfulness on and off the mat.
POWER VINYASA FLOW – Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a fun, physical practice that will challenge you to explore your boundaries and stretch everything out. Students move fluidly from one pose to the next while connecting their breath to their movements. Each class is a little bit different – hip openers, heart openers, inversions…all the good stuff! Come sweat and play and jump start your week!
BARRE CLASS – Barre Class is a workout combining the best of Pilates, resistance training and ballet to tone, strengthen and shape your body. With a strong focus on posture, this workout is designed to increase flexibility and produce long lean muscles. A tighter seat, flatter abs, thinner thighs, sculpted arms and a strong core!
